Welcome to the Leicestershire Friends of Cancer Research
Cancer Research UK has hundreds of fund-raising groups throughout the UK. These volunteer "Friends" organise local events which are fun, help raise awareness of Cancer Research UK, and generate valuable funds to help fight Cancer.
This website, maintained by volunteers, is our attempt at advertising the work of the "Friends". Initially covering Leicestershire and Rutland, we hope it may encourage you to join a group, or help you to find an event in your area.
Have a look at our Events Diary page for a full list of fundraising events that we are organising throughout Leicestershire. To get a flavour for what we do why not have a look at some of our past events. These range from Ladies Evenings, Choral Nights, and Beetle Drives to events such as the Sutton Bonington Garden Walkabout. We also have a Flickr Page where you can view photos of yet more events. not interested in. However we would like to keep you in touch with our latest events and
news. That is why we have implemented an

on the website. Subscribe to the feed and your browser will discretely inform you of any
